-The house is a newly refurbished 3 bedroom/2 bath home with full kitchen. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, one queen room and one with 2 twin beds. The house comfortably sleeps 6, and can easily accommodate 8 with an air mattress.
-Pa's Place is located just across the road from gorgeous MacKerricker State Park. A short 15 minute walk from the house will get you to the dramatic rocky Mendocino coastline.
-An easy 5 minute drive takes you into the quaint town of Ft. Bragg which is full of cute boutiques and artisan shops. It is home to the famous Skunk Train, North Coast Brewery, and loads of tasty restaurants.
-A mere 25 minute drive away is the beautiful village of Mendocino. Surrounded on three sides by dramatic ocean views of the Mendo Headlands, the village is full of sweet little Victorian B&B's, restaurants and shops.
-Outdoor options include strolling the many dramatic beaches in the area, gorgeous hikes that take you from the ocean to the redwoods, and riding your bike down the old logging road that skirts the coast on an easy 5 mile stretch from MacKerricker Beach to the town of Ft. Bragg. Also take advantage of visiting some of the fantastic wine tasting rooms in the area, or go up to Pacific Star Winery to sip a bottle of Italian varietal wine while sitting at a picnic table overlooking one of the most amazing bluffs in the area.
-Kids love staying at Pa's Place because they have room to roam! Situated on 1 acre, there's lots of space for playing baseball or kicking around a soccer ball. "City kids" (like mine) have an opportunity to explore their surroundings without their parents worrying about them wandering too far. The house is on a quiet and very safe street.
